Taste Of The Nation Portland

Nearly 17 million children in America struggle with hunger. That’s almost 1 in 4.

As some of you know, I'm the volunteer Sponsorship Chair for Taste Of The Nation Portland, a culinary benefit for Share Our Strength. Taste of the Nation events raise funds that support No Kid Hungry™, Share Our Strength’s campaign to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.

This year is a special year for Taste Of The Nation Portland. Not only is it the 25th anniversary of event locally, but the event is upgrading from a small venue to JELD-WEN Field (go Timbers!) – where it’s going to be bigger and more delicious than ever.

If you care about helping to fight childhood hunger – and simultaneously want to eat and drink your little hearts out – please consider buying a ticket. 100% of ticket sales support Share Our Strenth’s efforts to fight childhood hunger.

Still unsure? We just published the list of “bites” that each restaurant will provide. Check this menu out and drool.

Poverty is complex. Feeding a child is not.
